We're not just moved by the holiday spirit these days, but all the great things that the City of Heroes® community has been doing for each other and the general public this season. When our players strive not only to have a positive affect in-game, but in the real world...we think it's something worth sharing with you.
Real World Hero is one such example. A devoted group of City of Heroes® players, the Wentworths, have decided to take a step out of Paragon City in order to do good this year and spread some cheer by organizing a charity drive for three charities: Child's Play, Donate Games, and Operation Gratitude. You can visit their forum posting or website to learn more information about their Real World Hero event and get involved. Please note that even though temporary gold titles will be given out in relation to this event, this charity drive is not endorsed by NCSoft. Donating through realworldhero.com will entail giving personal information to 3rd parties and if you decide to participate, it is of your own accord.
Child's Play is a registered charity number 20-3584556. Donate Games is a registered charity number 26-3438815. Operation Gratitude is a registered charity number 20-0103575.
In addition to this charitable event, players continue to astound us by the in-game activities they continue to throw for one another, a few examples being The Winter Gala, Tanker Tuesday, and Pumbumbler's Costume Contest. The best way to find out about these and many other great events is to regularly visit the Player Events Forum and read up on all the exciting stuff your fellow players are up to. If you're throwing an event or activity and have any questions, please send them to eventsinthecity@ncsoft.com.
We're so proud of you CoH players for doing such great things for others - keep up the great community building!
